Extra Activities

Skiing not your thing but don’t want to miss out on our delicious chalet menu?  Planning to bring the grandparents along as babysitters?  Wanting to enjoy the mountains from the hot tub all day?

La Plagne has something for everyone. From relaxing spa experiences and scenic winter walks to thrilling adventures for adrenaline seekers and fun-filled activities for children, there’s plenty to enjoy both on and off the slopes. Whatever your age or interests, you’ll find no shortage of ways to make the most of your winter holiday.

1. Bobsleigh La Plagne Olympic track

Experience the only Olympic bobsleigh track in France. Choose from the high-speed Bob Raft, Speed Luge or the full Taxi Bob experience with a professional pilot, reaching speeds of over 100 km/h!

2. Snowshoe Hiking

Swap skis for snowshoes and explore peaceful alpine forests and panoramic mountain trails. Guided walks are available during the day or at sunset, with options suitable for beginners through to experienced hikers.  You can rent a set of Snowshoes from us to explore.

3. Husky Dog Sledge

Travel through snowy landscapes behind a team of huskies. You can either relax as a passenger or, on selected experiences, learn the basics of driving your own sled.

4. Paragliding

Take to the skies on a tandem paraglide and enjoy breathtaking aerial views over the Tarentaise Valley.

5. Colorado Luge

A dedicated 1.5 km toboggan run packed with twists, turns and tunnels. Suitable for older children and adults, it’s one of the resort’s most popular family-friendly activities. Want to go further? Then Oxygene offer a guided 5km run from Aime 2000 all the way down to La Roche!

6. Belle Plagne Deep Nature Spa

Relax after a day outdoors with heated pools, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis and spa treatments while enjoying mountain views. They run sessions during the day and also to enjoy the sunset.

7. Snowmobiling

Join a guided snowmobile excursion after the ski lifts close to explore snowy mountain terrain.

8. MoonBikes

Three times lighter than a snow mobile, quiet and powerful, a ride on these electric snow bikes is not to be missed. Take place on a dedicated track of La Plagne with a guide once the lifts have closed and zoom around our winter playground to your heart’s content.

9. Walking Trails

Well-maintained pedestrian trails let you enjoy the mountain scenery without specialist equipment. Many routes are accessible via pedestrian lift passes, making them ideal for non-skiers as you still get to enjoy the view from the top!

10. Rainy Day Activities – Cinema, Bowling, Escape Rooms

A lively evening option featuring bowling, arcade games, food and drinks- perfect for families or groups looking for après-ski entertainment not on the slopes. With a local cinema, showing English or subtitled screenings, and even some Escape rooms should the weather take a turn and you need day time activities! off the mountain.
