A Collection Of Our Personal Mountain Highlights; Whether You’re After An Indulgent Hot Chocolate, A Great Picnic Spot Or A Dance On A Table La Plagne Has Got You Covered!
While available in all the restaurant spots up the mountain there is a huge variation in what you would receive after ordering your hot chocolate. Our favourite has to be the Le Roc Des Blanchets at the top of the Rossa chairlift. Here you will receive a huge mug full of deliciously nutty hot chocolate, topped with a delightful amount of whipped cream and a biscuit to top it off. Not to mention if you grab a table outside on the decking you can enjoy arguably some of the best views La Plagne has got to offer.
Nothing beats unwinding with a beverage surrounded by good company, good music and the afternoon sunshine beaming down on your face. That’s the reason we love Après at the Bergerie Restaurant. Serving a selection of food and drinks you will find a daily Après Party here often with a singer, saxophone, DJ or all 3!
If letting gravity take you down with minimal effort is more your style then the long winding Blue running from the very top of the Grande Rochette all the way down into the heart of Champagny Village is a good option. This provides many turns and bends along the way, accompanied by specular scenery all the way down.
There is usually a divide when it comes to mountain food, some want it cheap and cheerful while others choose to indulge in some traditional French cuisine. If you want a quick burger then Bonnet is your place. Here you can choose from a selection of meat or veggie burgers with all the tasty trimmings. There are also hot dogs, chips and salads if burgers aren’t your thing.
Spoilt for choice with panoramic mountain views all over it’s hard to narrow down a favourite. However, very little beats gathering some drinks and snacks and enjoying the sunshine and spectacular scenery from the top of the Sources run. Why not grab a few BrewDogs to enjoy when you leave the chalet in the morning?
Here the obvious answer is back at our Chalets! Why not relax and enjoy the view from our outdoor hot tubs or ease your muscles in the sauna. If you like you can relax further in the comfort of your own chalet with a visit from a masseuse, just ask your chalet host for more details.
How many have you ticked off your list?
