Booking your holiday

Do you offer any discounts?

We have our Alpoholics Reward Scheme – ARS! Here you can earn points to work your way up the levels unlocking special deals along the way.  All information on this scheme can be found here (insert link)  Why not start working your way to that 50% off a holiday!

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A non-refundable deposit of £200 per person is payable to secure your holiday.

Are airport transfers included?

Please see our booking conditions for our complimentary transfer service.  Providing your flight lands/takes off within our specified time frame your transfer will be provided.

Im a single traveller, can you accommodate me?

We can offer rooms for sole occupancy.  It is best to get in touch with us for a personalised quote.

What type of ski hire do I need?

Depending on your ability we can offer a number of options.  Our Armada skis are best suited to intermediate abilities and above.

How do I know what lift pass I need?

A La Plagne pass will cover the La Plagne ski area with one day in Les Arcs, whereas a Paradiski Ski pass gives you unlimited access to Les Arc.  If you are a family then you may benefit from having a reduced price family ski pass.

Do I need insurance?

You will need to organise your own travel insurance, making sure you have adequate cover for your holiday.

Are my payments protected?

Our preferred method of accepting payments is through our booking system which uses a Worldpay portal to accept card payments. As long as the holiday is worth over £100 (which it almost always will be) and at least part of the holiday has been paid for with a credit card then all of your payments should be covered under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act should the company fail. However, this can vary case by case so its always best to check with your credit card provider. If you wish to pay with a debit card then it is highly likely that you will be protected by the chargeback scheme.

What payments do you accept?

Acceptable payment types are Bank Transfer, Bankers Draft or through our secure online payment portal provided by Worldpay ltd by Mastercard or Visa. Prices are in £ (Pound Sterling) or Euros (€) depending on the product/service and the currency quoted at time of booking. We can also take credit card payments including AMEX through pay-by-link although it is not clear whether these payments would be protected under section 75.


Cancellation and refunds

I can no longer make my holiday, what can I do?

If someone else can take your place we can easily change the name on the booking.  If you are unable to come you will forfeit your deposit and any other amounts paid at the point of cancellation. If you cancel within 8 weeks of arrival but have not yet paid your balance then you will still be liable for said balance in accordance with out Terms & Conditions.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

The maximum we can wait is up to half an hour after the scheduled departure time in order to avoid compromising driver hours regulations. If your flight is delayed by more than this we will endeavour to arrange an alternative method of transfer, however, this will be at your own cost so please insurance your insurance will cover such an eventuality.

Im driving to La Plagne or sorting my own transfer, when can I get into my chalet

Our chalets will be available from 4pm, this gives our chalet staff enough time to get them ready for your arrival.

We ask that you vacate the chalet by 10am, this gives our chalet staff enough time to get the chalets ready for the next guests.

Ive never been on a chalet holiday before what should I expect?

A great week!  Expect to have all your needs catered for with a cooked breakfast and 4 course meal 6 nights a week, chalet staff on hand to answer your questions, and an in-house ski rental at your service!  Not to mention all our additional perks such as the Alps’ first Brewdog honesty bar.

Ive got a food allergycan you cater for me?

You can specify any dietary requirements and allergies you may have by adding a note on our online booking portal.  Our chefs will then be able to cater specifically to your needs. If you (or anyone in your group)  has an allergy that is severe please consult us prior to booking so we can establish the most appropriate course of action.

Were a large group of people travelling together, can you help?

Yes! We have 4 chalets sleeping a total maximum of 59 guests within a minutes walking distance of each other so even if you’re a large group we can accommodate you split across our chalets.

I dont ski or snowboard, will there be anything for me to do if I come?

La Plagne boasts a large amount of activities off and on the slopes that you can get involved in.  An Olympic bobsleigh run, husky rides, toboggan run or snow-shoe walks just to name a few!  Or you can relax hard with a massage within the comfort of your own chalet.

Will there be snow?

We’ve chosen La Plagne for it’s excellent snow record, often still found snowing in May!  With 70% of the slopes above 2000m altitude, Paradiski guarantees optimal snow conditions.  La Plagne’s Glacier sits at 3250m so will always have snow, not to mention the resort has plenty of snow making facilities should it need that extra boost!

When is my hosts day off?

Your hosts will have Wednesday as their day off.  Here your continental breakfast will be laid out the night before and we can organise somewhere for you to have dinner that evening.  Don’t panic, you’ll still have afternoon tea waiting for you after a day on the slopes!  Our hosts will also have an extra half day off during the week where another staff member will cover for them.

Im really keen, is it possible to ski on my arrival and departure day?

If you want!  We can accommodate this by arranging to fit your ski hire early and storing your bags for you.  If you wish to ski on your departure day please bear in mind it will not be possible to re-enter the chalet to shower etc in order to prepare for our next week’s arrivals.

What linen and towels do you provide?

All our rooms come complete with bed linen, a bath towel, a spa towel for the hot tub, and a robe.  We are trying to minimise our environmental impact so we do not offer mid-week linen changes.

Are your chalets secure?

All our chalets have a unique key code in order to enter them. Just don’t shout the code out when trying to get in after a few too many!

What Apres activities are available?

You can visit the Bergerie restaurant on the slopes for Apres parties, go on a skidoo trip, husky rides, or even feel the rush as you go down the Olympic bobsleigh run!  If a little less adrenalin is your thing why not relax in your own chalet with a massage.

Do you have hairdryers available?

Yes! Just ask your host on arrival.

Is there Wifi in the chalets?

Yes, our complimentary wifi reaches throughout our chalets.

Ive got kids, what can they do?

We can help organise ski hire and ski school lessons for your children during the day.  Within our chalets we have a heap of games, games consoles, DVDs and netflix to keep them entertained

How far are the chalets from the airport?

Our free transfer service operates from Geneva to La Plagne.  This journey on average takes 2.5-3 hours.  However, this time can vary depending on traffic and weather conditions.
